Wacker to raise prices for resins, dispersions, and dispersible polymer powders

Prices for these products will be increased by up to 15%.

Wacker has announced that effective June 1, 2026, or as customer contracts allow, the company will raise prices for resins, dispersions, and dispersible polymer powders sourced from its production sites in Europe and the USA. Prices for these products will be increased by up to 15%.

According to Wacker, the price adjustments will enable the Polymers division “to continue providing customers with high product quality, technological innovations, best-in-class customer service and technical support, along with supporting investment to secure the capability for future growth across focus markets.”

The pricing measure has been necessitated by rising costs for raw materials and logistics. The recent conflict in the Middle East has led to significant distortions in commodity markets worldwide. Consequently, prices for energy, raw materials and logistics have significantly risen. Wacker says its global polymers business is especially affected by this development.
